About the role

We’re building a generational company at August, and you will be an integral part of our story. You'll build and run August's entire growth infrastructure. This means connecting our GTM stack, automating workflows, running experiments, building landing pages, and inventing new ways to reach lawyers. You think like a growth marketer but move like a hacker.

What you'll do

• Own our GTM stack: Connect and optimize Clay, HubSpot, Amplemarket, Salesloft, and everything else we use to reach customers

• Build AI-powered workflows: Use GPTs for ad copy, agents for segmentation, auto-generated landing pages, and smart automation across marketing channels

• Ship growth experiments fast: Build MVPs using Retool, Bubble, Zapier, Vercel, or custom scripts without needing engineering support

• Automate repetitive work: Campaign QA, performance reporting, lead enrichment, data pipelines—if it's manual, make it automatic

• Build and scale performance channels: Paid search, retargeting, SEO, and experiments we haven't tried yet. Obsess over ROI and repeatable systems

• Support PLG motion: Build landing pages, improve site speed, optimize conversion funnels, run keyword research

• Leverage APIs, webhooks, and LLMs: Stitch together growth infrastructure that scales smarter

• Run outbound campaigns: Build systems in Clay and Salesloft that convert

• Work with GTM: Own lead handoffs, qualification processes, and the entire handoff from marketing to sales

What you bring

• 3-5 years in growth, GTM engineering, marketing ops, or similar roles at fast-growing B2B SaaS companies

• Technical fluency: Comfortable with Zapier/Make, Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, webhooks, no-code tools (Framer, Retool)

• Deep knowledge of modern GTM tools: Clay, HubSpot, Salesloft, Amplemarket, or equivalents

• Experience with AI and automation: Bonus if you've built custom GPTs, internal agents, or LLM-powered workflows

• PLG and self-serve experience: You've built funnels that convert without sales involvement

• Systems thinker: Excited by hard distribution problems, committed to building engines that scale rather than one-off hacks

• Bias toward shipping: You believe a working prototype today beats a polished deck next week

• Strong communicator: Can lead cross-functional projects and rally engineering, product, and sales around shared goals

Nice to Haves

• Built PLG funnels from scratch

• SEO and conversion optimization expertise

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data—cleaning, transforming, piping it into useful workflows

• Have shipped AI-powered marketing tools or workflows
