Job Description
JLGOV | Remote | Part-Time (~20 hrs/week) | $27/hour
The Opportunity
At JLGOV, winning matters, and winning starts long before a contract is awarded. We're looking for a sharp, systems-minded Growth Coordinator who thrives behind the scenes, keeps everything moving, and never lets a deadline slip through the cracks.
This isn't a passive administrative role. You'll be the operational engine powering our business development pipeline — tracking opportunities, coordinating proposals, managing compliance deadlines, and ensuring our leadership team can focus on strategy.
If you love turning chaos into clarity, thrive in a fast-paced government contracting environment, and take pride in being the person who has it all handled — read on.
What You'll Do
Hunt & Monitor Opportunities
Watch contract vehicles and portals for newly released task orders and opportunities — and act fast when they appear
Organize and distribute task orders to the right internal stakeholders and teaming partners
Maintain a live, accurate task order repository, submission tracker, and partner documentation library
Keep our centralized list of growth and bid partners current and complete
Drive Proposal Coordination
Own the master calendar of proposal deadlines and submission milestones — nothing gets missed on your watch
Track internal assignments, chase down contributors, and ensure deliverables land on time
Maintain real-time CRM visibility into our growth pipeline and business development activities
Deliver clear, structured weekly and monthly status updates to leadership
Support Contract Compliance (PMO)
Maintain a centralized tracker of all contract and grant reporting deadlines
Send timely reminders to team members and confirm that submissions are completed
Keep 60–90 days of forward visibility into reporting requirements at all times
Build & Maintain Proposal Infrastructure
Maintain and continuously improve reusable proposal templates and boilerplate content
Support the development of past performance write-ups, resumes, and compliance matrices
Assist with document formatting and leverage automated tools for content redaction
Own Compliance & Deadline Management
Track recurring certifications, registrations, and required regulatory filings
Maintain structured dashboards that give leadership instant visibility into obligations
Proactively surface upcoming risks and deadlines — before they become problems
What You Bring
3–4 years of experience in capture support, proposal coordination, contract administration, or project coordination in a government contracting environment
Direct familiarity with contract vehicles, task order processes, and the federal procurement lifecycle is a strong plus
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and hands-on experience with project management platforms such as Zoho, CRM, ClickUp, or Smartsheet etc.
Exceptional organizational discipline, follow-through, and communication skills
U.S. Citizenship required — this role involves access to controlled unclassified information (CUI) and federal contract information (FCI)
Must be able to pass a background check and professional reference checks
