As the Growth Communications Manager, you will own and execute PVcase’s earned media and editorial outreach strategy with a clear focus on high-authority, industry-relevant publications in the renewable energy sector. You will be responsible for securing quality editorial placements and backlinks that strengthen PVcase’s brand authority, topical relevance, and SEO and GEO performance.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of PR, content, and SEO. You will work closely with internal teams to translate technical, data-driven insights into compelling narratives for a small set of key industry outlets. Rather than broad or high-volume outreach, your work will focus on depth, relevance, and impact across a limited number of trusted publications in Europe and the US.
While the primary focus of this role is editorial outreach and earned media, approximately 20% of the scope will be dedicated to supporting and coordinating PVcase’s social media presence and owned media initiatives, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and the company podcast.
Media relations (80%)
• Own and execute PVcase’s editorial outreach and media relations strategy, focused on securing high-quality placements in a defined set of top renewable energy and solar industry publications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and contributors at key industry outlets, acting as PVcase’s primary point of contact for editorial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Content, Product, and Data teams to identify, shape, and prioritize story angles based on internally produced content, proprietary data, and market insights.
• Translate technical and data-driven content into clear, compelling editorial narratives aligned with publication standards and audience expectations.
• Plan and execute proactive outreach campaigns to secure 4–5 high-value editorial mentions and backlinks per quarter in tier-one industry media.
• Evaluate outreach and placement opportunities through both an editorial and SEO lens, prioritizing quality, relevance, and long-term impact over volume.
• Track and report on media placements, backlinks, and performance indicators, sharing insights and recommendations with the broader marketing team.
• Continuously refine outreach processes, documentation, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with PVcase’s growth goals.
Social coordination (20%)
• Own and manage PVcase’s weekly social media execution across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring consistency with brand voice and campaign priorities.
• Collaborate with the Content and Marketing teams to plan and schedule posts that amplify key narratives, editorial placements, and product updates.
• Coordinate and project manage PVcase’s monthly podcast, including planning, stakeholder alignment, timelines, and distribution.
