Group Sales Manager

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving group and travel agent business for Bishop’s Lodge within assigned territories, with a focus on corporate and incentive accounts. This role involves identifying, cultivating, and securing business opportunities through a variety of sales channels to achieve revenue goals while delivering the high-touch hospitality experience Bishop’s Lodge is known for.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate business through inquiries, telemarketing, trade shows, sales trips, site visits/tours, and direct/email outreach in alignment with sales goals.

• Conduct property tours and site visits for clients within assigned territories.

• Manage client requests and support as reasonably assigned by the Director of Sales or General Manager.

• Represent Bishop’s Lodge at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions.

• Travel occasionally as needed to meet clients or attend sales events.

• Other duties as assigned.

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or Luxury Travel Advisor representing a luxury hotel, resort or travel agency 
• Ability to influence & build rapport with key stakeholders
• Self-motivated with a competitive spirit to achieve goals 
• Excellent presentation & communication skills to be able to effectively represent the property 
• Ability to travel to attend trade shows, client meetings, local tourism meetings and other key events 
• Experience with Delphi/Salesforce system
