Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in architecting and building scalable data solutions using Azure data services, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, and Python. Involves architecting, designing, and optimizing scalable data platforms and pipelines to support enterprise data initiatives. Financial domain knowledge is desirable.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have Skills)Extensive experience in data engineering, data architecture, and data modelling.Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake, and Azure services like Azure Data Factory. Advanced proficiency in SQL (optimization, stored procedures) and Python for data processing. Deep understanding of Azure services: ADLS, Azure SQL, Event Hub, Synapse, and related components. Experience in data modelling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and architectural best practices. Ability to diagnose job failures, data discrepancies, pipeline performance issues, and platform-level inefficiencies.

Nice To Have Skills

Exposure to Databricks & DBT. Experience with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform).Working knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools.Exposure to the finance domain and its associated datasets.Key Responsibilities:Architect, design, and implement scalable end to end data solutions across Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and DBT. Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL, Event Hub, and other Azure data services. Optimize Databricks jobs, Snowflake workloads, ADF pipelines, and data models for performance and cost efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, data quality, SQL queries, and Python scripts. Support data platform architecture, data modelling standards, and best practices for data governance and security. Assist with performance tuning of Databricks clusters, Snowflake warehouses, and BI datasets.
