A leading group in the financial service to identify a highly motivated and seasoned professional to lead its strategic planning, implementation and business development functions.
This position provides support to the GMD on the conceptual issues arising from the Business Strategy of the Group. The incumbent is also required to ensure effective business development (via products, channel and viable business plans) for continued growth and optimal profitability of the Group. In addition, it has the responsibility for the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with the strategy, commitments, goals and timing.
A first degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Insurance and Actuarial Science or any other associated field.
A master’s degree in Economics or any other Business related discipline.
Associate membership of ICAN, CIIN or any equivalent bodies is advantageous.
Minimum of ten years work experience in corporate planning and strategic development role, four of which must be at the management level.
High numerical ability, superior analytical and problem solving skills. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate capacity to operate at the strategic-operational level.
Extensive and proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management are also required
