Group Financial Controller – Feisst Group (Hamilton)
Feisst Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our finance function in Hamilton. This is a pivotal role supporting several well‑established businesses and working closely with the CEO to drive financial performance, strengthen systems, and support strategic growth.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a commercially focused, modern, and IT‑savvy finance leader who can:
Lead accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
Deliver high-quality management reporting, insights, and dashboards.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
Strengthen cashflow forecasting and working capital performance.
Ensure compliance across tax, audit, statutory reporting, and policies.
Improve systems, automate processes, and enhance financial controls.
Embed cost-to-serve and standard costing to support pricing and profitability.
Lead, coach, and develop a capable finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and recommendations.
Maintain strong balance sheet integrity and financial controls.
Lead the annual budget cycle and rolling forecasts.
Manage cashflow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
Oversee GST, PAYE, income tax, FBT and audit deliverables.
Own ERP/accounting systems; improve data quality and automate processes.
Provide commercial support to senior leaders across multiple entities.
Implement cost-to-serve models, standard costings, and margin analysis.
What You’ll Bring
CA qualified (or equivalent) with strong financial reporting capability.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder partnering skills.
Strong leadership capability with a continuous improvement mindset.
Modern, IT‑savvy approach—comfortable with digital tools, BI dashboards, automation, and system optimisation.
Experience in construction or similar industries preferred.
