The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position will be responsible for managing the organisation’s financial and accounting operations through strong leadership over the financial control function. This role will have a dual focus on the commercial side of the business as well as compliance, reporting, and the accuracy of numbers being delivered.


What You’ll be Doing:

Managing the full end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and shared services teams, including accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, payable, and banking


Responsible for accurate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial Board reporting


Ensure accounting ledgers are kept under accounting standards and maintained to a high standard, including intercompany eliminations, balances, and throughput


Development and refresh of key accounting procedures & policies


Maintain a strong financial control environment, suitable for an ASX-listed group, including full control of the balance sheet


Continual focus on improving processes and procedures with a view to reducing manual intervention wherever possible


Significant team management, including mentoring and staff development


Resolving technical accounting issues


What We Are Looking For:

CA/CPA qualification


5+ years of experience as a Finance Leader


Excellent ability to work under tight deadlines, delivering complete and accurate financial results, and manage a broad team.


Exceptional attention to detail


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
