Job Description
EPIC Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC/CSAC-S) to join our growing team as group facilitators within our ARTS program. This role provides structured group education, relapse-prevention support, and person-centered interventions for individuals participating in substance use treatment services. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions in accordance with ASAM and program requirements.
Support individuals in identifying goals and applying recovery skills.
Maintain group structure, safety, and engagement.
Monitor participant engagement and communicate concerns requiring clinical or supervisory attention.
Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
Complete accurate, timely documentation, including group notes and attendance, in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EHP standards.
Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed.
Participate in meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC/CSAC-A) credential required.
Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health and/or addiction services in individual, family, or group settings.
Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
Verification of Tuberculosis (TB) screening.
