Job Description

Public Kitchen and Bar, Finz Seafood and Grill, and Bella Cucina are three well-established Queenstown restaurants, collectively operating as Wai Hospitality Group.

We are looking for a Group Administration Manager to join our head office team in Queenstown. This is a key role supporting the smooth operation of the entire group.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily administrative operations and maintain efficient office systems across the group

Coordinate payroll, staff records, onboarding, and visa compliance

Prepare and analyse operational and financial reports to support business decisions

Support budgeting, data tracking, and performance monitoring

Manage internal communications, including shared inboxes and meeting coordination

Assist with stocktake reporting, and process improvements

Coordinate marketing activities with internal teams and external providers

Administer staff accommodation records and agreements

Maintain HR and Health & Safety documentation and compliance

Provide operational support to venue managers and cover Restaurant Manager shifts as required

About you:

At least 3 years’ relevant experience including hospitality management or a similar operational role. Experience using business systems such as rostering, HR, and reporting platforms. Knowledge of hospitality compliance functions.

Hold a Managers Certificate or LCQ with ability to obtain.

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, management, or communication) is advantageous but not essential.

We offer:

$37 to $39 per hour

30 office-based hours Monday to Friday + approximately 10 Restaurant Manager hours
