The Role:
Are you confident managing high-volume financial processes with accuracy and pace?
Join Legend’s Finance team on a 6-month maternity cover in St Helier, Jersey, and build your experience in a fast-moving, global business.
You’ll support key Accounts Payable processes, from invoice and payment processing to reconciliations and month-end close, helping ensure accuracy and control across the function. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and a willingness to learn are key. If you have some Accounts Payable experience and are looking to develop your skills in a supportive, high-performing team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our finance operations running smoothly while continuing to grow your career.
What you'll do::
• Processing supplier invoices, payments, and intercompany transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintaining financial records in the accounting system, including bank reconciliations.
• Managing company credit cards, including monthly postings and reconciliations.
• Performing cost reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and liaising with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Supporting month-end close activities, including supplier statement reconciliations.
• Reviewing and processing employee expenses and travel costs in line with company policies.
• Assisting with annual accounts preparation and providing support to the wider global finance team.
About you::
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliations, and how Accounts Payable works alongside Accounts Receivable.
• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A collaborative team player who can meet deadlines and take ownership of their work.
