We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. As a member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping of various commercial and residential properties, which includes tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, planting and more.
Key Responsibilities
Provide basic grounds maintenance work such as mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, weed control, etc.
Operation of zero-turn radius, ride-on, stand-on, and push-mowers, string and blade weed eaters/trimmers, leaf, and grass blowers, edgers, and hedge trimmers.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Record materials and labor usage
Able to work independently or on a team for efficient project completion
Lift 50-75 pounds on a routine basis
Create spring annual plant and flower displays
Perform snow and ice removal tasks, when needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods of time
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and good driving record
Willingness to learn and expand skills
Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions
