Role Summary:
The Sales Coordinator for the Greece Branch is primarily responsible for managing the collection of outstanding invoices from customers across the Greek and Cypriot markets.
Key responsibilities include dunning and collections, sales support and follow-up, cross-regional coordination, and reporting and information sharing.
The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Contract: Temporary Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: Piraeus, Greece (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
Dunning & Collections
Proactively contact customers (by phone and email) to follow up on and collect outstanding invoices.
Participate in and contribute to monthly dunning review meetings.
Maintain and regularly update the monthly dunning report, ensuring accurate and timely sharing of information with Japanese colleagues.
Sales Support & Follow‑Up
Support the Sales team by following up on quotations submitted by Japanese colleagues to customers on a daily basis.
Liaise with customers via phone or email to verify the status of quotations and identify next steps.
Collect and consolidate customer‑related information arising from daily interactions, contributing to the identification of potential purchase orders.
Cross‑Regional Coordination
Provide operational support for cases primarily managed by Japan HQ, where assistance from the Piraeus office is required.
Communicate and collaborate closely with overseas colleagues, ensuring continuous follow‑up and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Reporting & Information Sharing
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of information gathered by the Greece office.
Share updates clearly and consistently to ensure alignment and a common understanding across teams and regions.
Candidate Requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Occasional communication with customers in Greek is acceptable when required.
Knowledge of marine machinery, including an understanding of the characteristics and functionality of marine equipment.
Previous experience in the marine industry will be considered an advantage.
Experience working in a multinational or foreign‑owned company is highly preferred.
Experience in the marine industry, particularly in roles involving reporting, communication, and follow‑up of individual cases, will be considered an advantage.
