JOB SUMMARY:

The Graphic Production Assistant will work within the Design department and will be responsible for assisting in the production of large-format graphic stencils and vinyl decals, We are looking for an artistic, energetic individual who likes working with their hands and is willing to be a team player. Must be quality-conscious and work quickly under deadlines and assignments. This is a local position and the work is performed onsite at Praters Inc., Rossville, GA location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fulfill customer-based production orders in a timely and efficient manner 

Stand and work over a waist-high table when preparing graphic orders

Stand for long periods, and the ability to lift 40+ pounds periodically

Follow and understand quality guidelines, patent processes, and graphic layouts

Ability to work independently with a self-motivated attitude

capable of executing multiple projects simultaneously. 

Load materials on/into printers and/or laminators, which may require some heavy lifting

Troubleshoot problems as they arise by consulting the creative team and Management

Package shipments and create order labels

Execute jobs within tight schedules 

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Willing to work overtime and some weekends

Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes

Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 - 2 years prior production experience

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40+ pounds

Strong attention to detail

Have a good work ethic and be able to produce high-quality work

Able to effectively and efficiently organize and work well on a team, but also have the independence to work individually

Valid Driver's License
