About the Role
We are looking for a Graphic Designer Intern to join our team in Johannesburg on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Product and Marketing teams to create engaging, high-quality visual content across multiple brand channels, including digital, social media, presentations, and print.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment.
What You’ll Do
• Support the creation of visually compelling assets for digital and print channels
• Design materials for presentations (PowerPoint), social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life
• Adapt and optimize existing designs across different formats and platforms
• Contribute ideas and creative input to enhance brand storytelling
• Ensure consistency and quality across all visual outputs
Requirements:
• Recently completed (or currently completing) a Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Up to 1 year of experience (internships, freelance, or academic projects) in graphic and/or digital design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and presentation design
• A portfolio demonstrating creative thinking and problem-solving through design
• Basic understanding of layout, typography, and branding principles
• Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
• Basic knowledge of motion design or animation tools (e.g., After Effects)
• Exposure to video editing or digital content creation
• Any basic programming or web knowledge is a plus
