Job Overview
Grok is an international education provider serving a large and growing number of higher education Clients. Due to growth in our Global Marketing Solution Line, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team, based in our Kuala Lumpur office.
The Graphic Designer will support the delivery of high-quality creative assets for international student recruitment campaigns, producing both static and video content for student, parent, and influencer audiences across multiple global markets. This role works closely with Client Leads and regional teams to localize creative concepts and messaging, ensuring brand alignment while adapting content for cultural relevance and performance impact.
Role Overview
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the end-to-end creation of digital and print assets that support paid media, brand, and content marketing initiatives for university partners. This includes localization of campaign creative, development of new concepts, maintenance of design systems, and delivery of production-ready assets that meet quality and brand standards. The role may also contribute to separate corporate marketing projects, supporting internal brand materials, sales collateral, and video production as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Production & Design
Design and produce digital and print assets, including social ads, display banners, brochures, flyers, infographics, video edits, email, nurture track and other campaign materials.
Localize global brand creative for multiple international markets, ensuring cultural relevance and audience appropriateness.
Develop layout designs, typography, visual concepts, and messaging treatments in alignment with brand guidelines.
Ensure all creative outputs meet technical specifications, platform requirements, and performance best practices.
Workflow & Delivery
Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.
Collaborate with Client Leads to clarify briefs, understand brand guidelines, and deliver appropriate creative recommendations.
Maintain an organised archive of artwork files, templates, and source assets to support scalability and efficiency.
Coordinate with external printers and production partners to ensure accurate, high-quality execution.
Innovation & Quality
Stay up to date with design trends, creative formats, and emerging tools that enhance creative quality and campaign performance.'Recommend improvements to creative workflows, templates, and design systems.
Uphold the highest standards of accuracy, visual consistency, and attention to detail across all outputs.
Internal Creative Support
Support corporate brand and marketing initiatives (e.g., brochures, pitch decks, conference displays, video assets, social content).
Maintain brand guidelines and associated visual asset libraries.
Experience & Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
Experience
2–3+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally within marketing, digital media, or agency environments.
Experience working across multiple formats (static, motion, print, digital) with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro / After Effects or similar) and other industry-standard design tools.
Experience with video editing and motion graphics preferred.
Understanding of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
