As the Graphic Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to create engaging and effective design solutions for a range of clients and across mediums. While much of your work will require executing within existing brands, there is opportunity to support new brand and conceptual development as well. In this position you’ll be accountable to the following things:

Design
Proof/Edit
You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:
Design creative deliverables to help the client tell their story
Version out marketing assets based on existing posters, web/print ads, etc.
Create and update marketing collateral (ie, campaigns, print materials, web/print ads, trade-show collateral, social media images, promotional items, business cards, mobile app pages, e-mail blasts, logos, website designs, and storyboards)
Align work to brand standards by working closely with team leads (creative director, creative team, account managers)
Design and deliver high-quality graphics optimized for video/web/social media
Create sketches, artwork, or illustrations
Demonstrate a growing mastery of core Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Figma
Knowledge of additional software (Premier, XD, After Effects) or disciplines such as illustration, photography or animation an asset
Willing to learn additional software as needed
Maintain files according to AdFarm processes and structure
We train our team to help them succeed, and everyone on our team helps with our success. In this role, you’ll need to come to the table with the following skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience or certifications will be considered
Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Figma or Sketch is a plus
Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition
Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling designs across digital and print media
Solid portfolio showcasing creative work, design process, and attention to detail
Basic knowledge of web design and user experience (UX/UI) principles preferred
A strong portfolio
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workThe willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas.

The salary range for this role is $50-70k/year. All employees will receive benefits (health, dental, vision, life and disability through a cost shared premium model), 3% RRSP contributions on an annual basis, a Health Spending Account, Health & Cell Phone Reimbursements, and we can offer a Hybrid working environment with a wonderful group of top talent individuals.
