To support Global Markets trading, sales, and structuring teams in analysing financial markets, assisting with pricing and execution activities, and contributing to risk management and client solutions while developing technical and market expertise under supervision.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of financial market dynamics, asset classes, and client requirements to support trading, sales, and structuring teams with relevant market insights and solutions.
• Monitor, collect, and analyse market developments, trends, and economic indicators to assist in identifying opportunities and supporting pricing, client engagement, and trading decisions.
• Support the pricing, structuring, and valuation of financial instruments under supervision, ensuring accuracy and alignment with market movements and client needs.
• Assist in trade execution and lifecycle management, including trade capture, validation, reconciliation, and reporting in line with internal procedures and controls.
• Develop an understanding of trading risks, client solutions, and risk management frameworks to support effective monitoring, reporting, and decision-making across Global Markets desks.
• A First Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Technology, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Minimum CGPA of 4.0 (or equivalent) is required
• Strong academic performance with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability
• Strong proficiency in Excel; exposure to programming or data tools (e.g. Python, SQL) is advantageous
• Strong recommendations from the Dean’s Office or academic faculty will be an added advantage
