EDTL 607-001 -  Language and Policy in Quebec Education.

Course Description: 

Structure and organization of education in Quebec considered from historical, political, language, social, administrative and legal perspectives. Enables students to contribute to the educational system in their roles as leaders of educational thought and change. All addressed through the development of professional competencies.

Position Summary:  

This requisition is for one (1) position, at 100 hours for the term, in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education for Summer 2026.   

Course dates are May 11, 2026 to August 9, 2026 

Effective dates of appointment are May 11, 2026 to August 21, 2026  

Responsibilities may include:  

-Marks assignments and exams following set guidelines: 

• Completes grading keys and provides detailed feedback.

• Completes grading by specific deadline. 

• Maintains records of grades by entering them into MyCourses and/or excel files.

​-The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent.  

-Attending classes (S26: Online - Days are TBD - Connect with Course Instructor upon hire​ )  

Qualifications:  

• Master's or PhD student, enrolled at McGill 

• Knowledge and experience of course content.  

• Ability to grade in French and English is an asset. 

• Bilingual is an asset.
