This role is one of two Capability Manager positions, which are key in the delivery of Project Services within Government Technology Services (GTS), with responsibility for leading and developing all facets of capability management. The Project Services Capability Manager will effectively manage, develop and mentor project services professionals to meet DIA and wider All of Government business objectives and will deliver a career enhancement programme which sees GTS as the employer of choice within the project services environment. In addition to the line management function, this role will specifically focus on recruitment to the team and the effective allocation of project staff to resource projects, and this will be key to the success of a feasible and sustainable consultancy unit.
This role would suit a people orientated person who enjoys the challenge of developing and supporting people in a fast paced project environment. You will bring a strong people and line management background, preferably with knowledge and experience in a corporate IT environment. Experience of or exposure to Project management would be highly beneficial.
