Assistant Directors (several vacancies) Executive Level 1

Energy Efficiency Division

The Energy Branch has responsibility for the implementation of five energy efficiency grants programs including the:

• Low Income Energy Efficiency Program (LIEEP)
• Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP)
• Energy Efficiency Information Grants (EEIG) Program
• Local Government Energy Efficiency Program (LGEEP)
• Charities Maritime and Aviation Support (CMAS) Program.

The Branch is interested in enthusiastic people with a working knowledge of the Commonwealth Grants Guidelines and a broad range of skills in the areas of relationship building, program implementation and contract management.

Duties will include:

• Lead a sub-team to contribute to deliver the objectives of the individual abovementioned programs as outlined in the various Program Guidelines.
• Contribute to the effective management of the section, including supervision and professional development of staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships within grant recipients.
• Work with key stakeholders to develop processes and procedures for data collection, analysis, assessment and assimilation and the preparation of reports.
• Contribute to the development of high quality material such as discussion papers, agenda papers, briefs, ministerial correspondence, contracts, fact sheets, guidelines, web material and presentations.
• Contribute to the Department’s strategic planning and management initiatives, and performance improvement activities.
