Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated GRC Officer to support the Bank’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate with an academic background in banking, finance, risk management, or related fields. The GRC Officer will assist in ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying and managing risks, and supporting internal governance frameworks in line with banking regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Governance
• Assist in maintaining and updating governance policies, procedures, and frameworks
• Support preparation of reports for management committees and regulators
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of governance activities
Risk Management
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational, financial, and compliance risks
• Support risk assessments, risk registers, and key risk indicators (KRIs)
• Help track risk mitigation actions and follow up with relevant departments
Compliance
• Support compliance with banking laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines
• Assist in monitoring regulatory updates and communicating relevant changes internally
• Help conduct compliance reviews and internal control checks
• Support regulatory reporting and audit activities
General Support
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards related to GRC activities
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required data and documentation
• Perform other GRC-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, Law, or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Experience
• 0–1 year of experience in banking, compliance, risk, audit, or governance is an advantage
• Internship or academic exposure to banking or financial institutions is a plus
Skills & Competencies
• Basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
