Our client is a global technology and consulting organization leading large-scale cloud transformation programs for enterprise customers. The project involves complex migrations and modernization initiatives on Google Cloud Platform, with strong focus on secure, scalable, and production-ready architectures.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Google Cloud Architect / GCP Cloud Migration Consultant to lead large-scale cloud migration and application modernization initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.
The role requires strong experience in defining target architectures, guiding replatforming and refactoring decisions, and ensuring enterprise-grade cloud foundations aligned with governance, DevSecOps, and operational readiness standards.

You will act as a technical authority across architecture, migration strategy, and cloud governance, working closely with client architects, delivery teams, and cloud platform engineers.

Location: Hybrid, Singapore

Contract: Long-term contract (no benefits, medical, PTO...)

Responsibilities

• Define target-state cloud architectures and high-level designs for application migration to GCP
• Lead application modernization decisions (replatform, refactor, containerization, serverless)
• Design and govern reference architectures and standardized migration patterns
• Ensure landing zone, security, and networking foundations follow enterprise cloud blueprints
• Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform
• Align architecture with DevSecOps, SRE, and operational readiness requirements
• Provide technical leadership across migration factories and automation-driven delivery models
• Act as senior technical interface with client stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams
• Support large-scale migration programs with focus on scalability, reliability, and security
• Ensure solutions are production-ready and aligned with managed services / run operations

Requirements:
• Strong experience as Cloud Architect / GCP Architect / Cloud Migration Consultant
• Proven track record with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and delivery
• Experience with large-scale cloud migration and application modernization
• Hands-on knowledge of replatforming, refactoring, and cloud-native patterns
• Strong experience with containers, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures
• Solid experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud governance frameworks
• Experience working in enterprise environments with strict architecture standards
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in complex delivery programs
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills
