About the project
We are looking for an experienced Google Ads specialist to design and execute a targeted paid search campaign on behalf of a European Commission agency. The campaign promotes an EU regulatory tool and aims to drive significant qualified traffic from professionals across Europe.
This is a short-term, project-based contract with a clear scope, defined KPIs, and a dedicated advertising budget. Work is delivered entirely off-site and coordinated through video calls and email.
What you'll do
• Develop a detailed campaign execution plan including timeline, target audience, KPIs, and budget allocation strategy.
• Set up, launch, and actively manage one sponsored Google Ads campaign in English.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and make optimisations to maximise results.
• Analyse previous campaign data provided by the client to inform strategy and targeting decisions.
• Review creative materials supplied by the client and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Attend a kick-off meeting, a mid-campaign check-in, and a wrap-up meeting (all via video conference).
• Prepare and deliver campaign progress reports, a preliminary final report, and a comprehensive final report including lessons learned and next steps.
The campaign targets a minimum of 100,000 clicks with a maximum CPC of €0.20, drawing on a previous comparable campaign that achieved over 411,000 clicks at €0.04 CPC.
What we're looking for
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in paid digital advertising, ideally within a PR or digital marketing agency environment.
• Proven track record running sponsored campaigns on Google Ads — demonstrable evidence required.
• Experience with Facebook and Instagram sponsored campaigns is a plus.
• Proficiency with social/digital analytics tools and performance reporting.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into concrete campaign optimisations.
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing client reporting and administrative deliverables.
• Excellent written English; the campaign and all reporting will be in English.
