About the Team and Role

You’ll join the Orchestration team and work on one of the most critical components of our system — Payment Router.

Payment Router is Solidgate’s intelligent orchestration engine that gives merchants full control over how their payments are processed.

With a single integration, businesses can dynamically route transactions across providers using flexible no-code rules — increasing approval rates, reducing complexity, and driving measurable revenue growth.
This is a high-load, business-critical service with strict requirements for correctness, reliability, availability, and low latency.

As a Go Engineer, you will design and build reliable backend systems that power our payment routing engine. Your work directly impacts transaction success rates, system resilience, and overall merchant experience.

This is not about maintaining legacy — it’s about evolving and scaling a core orchestration engine under real production load.

What you’ll own

• Participating in system architecture and technical design decisions

• Developing and scaling routing and processing logic

• Working with distributed systems under high load

• Contributing to reliability, observability, and performance improvements

We rely heavily on automated testing and engineering best practices — code quality and system correctness are non-negotiable in payments.

You’re a great fit if you have

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience

• Commercial experience with Go

• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge

• Experience building or maintaining distributed systems

• Solid understanding of system reliability and performance

• Strong ownership mindset and responsibility for delivered features

• Ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly

Nice to have

• Kafka

• AWS SQS

• Experience in fintech / payments

• Experience with no-code / low-code automation systems
