Large GM Dealership is seeking a fulltime flat rate technician to join our ranks. Our benefits and technician retention make us industry leaders BY FAR! Most of our technicians have been with us for an average 7+ years. Additionally, we have a number of Auto group specific benefits that are tailored to reward our flat rate techs. We service Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, and other makes and models. We are growing and have many hours for those hungry enough to go after them. If you do not have flat rate experience, your resume will not be considered.
Job duties:
Interact daily with, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, and Managers.
Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to ensure customer loyalty
Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer
Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
Maintain assigned franchise training & ASE's
