We are seeking an experienced and visionary GM – Design Development (Architect) to lead architectural design initiatives and oversee end-to-end design development for large-scale projects. This role is responsible for driving high-quality architectural outcomes by integrating creative design thinking with technical precision, including MEP coordination. Based in Bengaluru, this full-time position requires a seasoned professional who can lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex design processes, and ensure projects are delivered in alignment with business objectives, timelines, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in shaping design direction, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration between architecture, engineering, and project execution teams.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design and development across multiple projects
• Oversee the complete design lifecycle from concept to detailed design and execution
• Ensure high standards of architectural design, innovation, and functionality
• Coordinate closely with MEP teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into design plans
• Review and approve drawings, specifications, and design documentation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external partners to ensure alignment
• Drive design optimization to balance aesthetics, cost efficiency, and technical feasibility
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards
• Identify and mitigate design-related risks during project execution
• Mentor and lead design teams, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
• Streamline design processes and implement best practices for improved efficiency
• Support project teams during execution by resolving design challenges and providing technical guidance

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in architectural design and design development
• Strong expertise in architectural design, detailing, and project execution
• Proven experience in coordinating and integrating MEP design within architectural projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance creative vision with technical and commercial considerations
• Experience in large-scale or complex projects is highly preferred
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and execution
