FMC is searching for talented, self-motivated logistics professionals to work in a free-thinking culture creating the next gen premium entry EVs with the highest autonomous technologies at our Santa Clara, CA facility.

Responsibilities

Identify suppliers available for sourcing.

Issue RFQs to multiple suppliers for multiple commodities.

Review, analyze and clarify quote packages from suppliers.

Support/Lead a strategic sourcing approval process.

Manage Purchase Order approval and issuing process

Identify and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities.

Negotiate cost changes related to product design changes.

Work with Suppliers, Engineering and Material Planning to release parts into production.

Work with Supplier Quality to identify “qualified” suppliers and drive continuous quality improvement.

Develop parts sourcing strategies and sourcing efficiencies.

Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships

Respond to supply shortages that are outside Material Planning’s control

Automotive, Electronics, Software/ Hardware suppliers
Automotive or electronics background; Negotiation skills
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management Degree; MBA
5+ years of experience

Santa Clara,CA. Upto 25% of travel required
