Global Sourcing Manager - Strategic Procurement (m/f/d)

This is where you come in: As Global Sourcing Manager, you pull the strings in opening up new procurement markets outside. You aren’t just an administrator; you’re a hunter looking for "hidden champions" in India, Eastern Europe, or Mexico. Your goal is to build a world-class, global supplier pool that keeps us resilient and scalable. Reporting directly to the CPO, you lay the foundation for a team you’ll eventually lead.

Your responsibilities with us:
• Active search and identification of new procurement markets with a focus on nearshoring and friendshoring
• Proactive scouting of manufacturing partners in regions like India, Poland, Czech Republic, or Mexico
• Technical and commercial qualification of potential partners, including checking machinery and ISO certifications
• Conducting audits (remote or on-site) to ensure our high quality standards are met
• Seamless onboarding of new suppliers into our FACTUREE procurement system
• Negotiating framework agreements, NDAs, and quality assurance agreements at eye level
• Structuring the supplier pool into logical competence clusters like CNC, sheet metal, or 3D printing
• Strategic development of our procurement logic as a sparring partner for the purchasing team
• Monitoring market trends and deriving long-term sourcing strategies

Your professional skills:
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand complex manufacturing processes
• Background in industrial engineering or technical business management with a focus on drawing parts
• Proven experience in international sourcing, ideally in best-cost country regions
• Knowledge of global logistics routes, customs formalities, and local market specifics
• Strong negotiation skills for complex contracts in both English and German
• Analytical mindset focused on Total Cost of Ownership rather than just unit price
• Existing network within the international industrial landscape is a definite plus
