Department Overview
Global Services Strategy, Business Intelligence & Operations is responsible for providing strategy and analytics and guidance to support the SVP, Global Services with business analysis, data modeling and recommendations on key decisions. The group works cross-functionally with field teams, service delivery, new offer management, and other internal stakeholders on high-profile projects.
Job Description
We are seeking a Global Services Data & Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence & Operations team. In this role, you will solve complex business problems through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and the development of high-impact metrics and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global teams to define requirements, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and manage project milestones from inception to delivery.
• End-to-End BI Development: Design and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
• Data Integrity & Governance: Own the data lifecycle by establishing "sources of truth," performing rigorous validation, and ensuring high standards of data accuracy and reporting automation.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate 3+ years of professional experience using SQL for complex data extraction and Tableau for sophisticated dashboard development.
• Process Innovation: Drive efficiency by using Python, Alteryx, or SQL to automate manual reporting workflows and increase data velocity.
• Advanced Analytics & AI: Integrate AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI workflows to provide predictive forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Strategic Communication: Distill intricate technical concepts into clear recommendations to influence cross-functional stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical Data or Business Analyst role.
• Systems Expertise: Mastery of Tableau, SQL, and Advanced Excel; familiarity with Salesforce, Jira, or ServiceNow is preferred.
Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
