About the position
Location: Amsterdam, Holland or Katowice, Poland
Hybrid model of working
Global SC Finanance Performance Manager is acting as a support to the Head of SC Finance Developed Markets by analyzing, interpreting, and advising on financial data, Forecast and Company results related to the Global scope.
He/She is th Primary contact for Regions and Markets for COGS details. Support on COGS analyses and driving COGS discussion related, including price variance and GMVA analyses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
• Close cooperation with Finance Team (Budget owners for Conversion, Materials, Logistic, Overheads, Business Waste) to understand the key drivers for budget changes and impact on COGS
• Prepare Consolidated Regional view for new COGS assumptions, detailed analysis EUR/KG plus key drivers for changes, including price mix variance and GMVA analyses
• Prepare Official Communication for regional CFO/markets with new COGS assumptions
• Analyze Company Results to understand and explain main drivers vs forecast
• Build the Brand / Category / COGS drivers matrix to provide insights and facilitate decision making
Process Ownership:
• Understand and implement forecasting and business planning processes across Globe and be prepared for the Horizon way of working without losing granularity and accuracy on COGS
• Create product-specific long-range forecast models, reflecting current data/ information/ assumptions
• Identify key business decisions/trends that impact short-term and long-range Market and product forecasts
Process Improvement
• Identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, and improve overall business performance
• Supply chain processes standardization for Globe to enhance efficiency across the Teams
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support a culture of operational excellence
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
• University degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial/business controlling
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure
• Flexible and open-minded, quick to adapt to changing requirements
• Fluent English
• MS-Office proficiency (excel advanced), SAP/BPC
• Experience of Transfer Pricing business model is desirable
