Summary:
The Global Product Marketing & Portfolio Coordinator supports the Global Product Marketing and Portfolio team in the portfolio management, development, and operational execution of products while also planning, coordination, and execution of product launches and ongoing product marketing initiatives. This role assists with cross-functional communication, asset organization, documentation, and project tracking to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product-related campaigns and materials. This role is a shared role between Young Living (75%) and Wyld Notes (25%).
Essential Functions
Support the coordination of product launches and portfolio management by tracking timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies.
Assist in preparing product briefs, launch documents, sales materials, and internal communication summaries.
Coordinate with Creative, Sales, Digital, and other teams to gather assets and ensure alignment on launch requirements.
Maintain and organize product marketing documentation, calendars, and shared resources.
Assist in compiling product claims, benefits, competitive comparisons, and FAQs for internal and external use.
Conduct basic market and competitor research to support product positioning and messaging development.
Assist in post-launch recaps by gathering performance metrics and compiling summary reports.
Assist in preparing product spec sheets, business cases, and internal project summaries.
Coordinate with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Finance, and Marketing to gather information and maintain alignment.
Maintain product documentation, SKU data, pricing records, and specification files.
Assist with item setup processes, product changes, discontinuations, and updates in internal systems.
Track product performance metrics such as sales trends, inventory levels, and margin data.
Support competitive research and product benchmarking efforts.
Help prepare materials for product meetings, stage-gate reviews, and executive updates.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
High attention to detail with ability to manage data accurately.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of marketing principles, branding, and consumer messaging.
Analytical mindset with comfort reviewing data and drawing basic insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Workspace equivalents).
Ability to work cross-functionally and follow structured processes.
Strong willingness to learn business operations and product lifecycle management.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or near completion).
Internship, academic project, or related experience in business operations, product development, or analytics preferred but not required.
Preferred Education & Experience
Internship experience in product management, operations, supply chain, or related field.
Experience working with data analysis or reporting tools.
Familiarity with product lifecycle concepts (development, commercialization, discontinuation).
Interest in consumer goods, wellness, manufacturing, or direct-selling industries.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention.
Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee’s manager.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
