Banks Sales & Solutions (BS&S) is part of BBVA Corporate & Investment Banking, within Global Transaction Banking (GTB), and is responsible for BBVA’s global transactional business with financial institutions.
BBVA operates in more than 30 countries and provides banking services in up to 166 jurisdictions, supported by a strong correspondent banking network. This global network enables BBVA’s financial institution clients to invest, pay and operate internationally in a secure, efficient and scalable manner.
Within BS&S, Global Network Management & Product, led by the Head of Global Network Management & Product, is responsible for the design, governance and continuous optimisation of BBVA’s global correspondent banking network, as well as product development for financial institutions. The team ensures the network effectively supports BBVA’s transactional business by balancing geographic coverage, operational resilience, cost efficiency, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Sobre el puesto
• Manage and develop BBVA’s global partner bank network.
• Negotiate Nostro account terms and conditions with banks worldwide.
• Analyze payment corridors to optimize routing, cost, resilience, and client experience.
• Lead RFP/RFI processes and conduct periodic service and performance reviews with FI providers.
• Participation in internal and external working groups to drive innovative product and network initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to apply emerging technologies (AI, APIs, Cloud, DLT/Blockchain) to existing processes and design new use cases that improve efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Challenge existing operating models and propose technology-enabled alternatives.
• Collaborate closely with FI Sales, Credit, Relationship Managers, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, and Group stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, product pitches, and strategy decks.
