About the role
We’re looking for a Global Mobility & International Benefits Lead to help us build a clear, thoughtful, and practical experience for people working across different countries.
This role sits at the intersection of people, policy, compliance, and employee experience. You’ll lead on how we support international moves, cross-border working, and benefits for employees outside our core home market.
We need someone who knows the detail, but keeps things simple. Someone who can build good frameworks, give clear advice, and make these topics feel easier for employees, managers, and internal teams.
What you’ll do:
You’ll lead our approach to global mobility and international benefits, including:
•
Designing, owning and improving our global mobility programmes and processes
•
Supporting employee moves across countries, including relocations, transfers, remote working, and short-term assignments
•
Partnering with Legal, Payroll, Tax, Finance, People Ops, and external vendors to make sure things run smoothly
•
Mobility Business Partnering, be an integral part of the team for new ventures in new jurisdictions.
•
Develop and maintain global mobility policies and procedures in line with our company mission and culture.
•
Drive oversight of business travel tracking, short-term cross-border risks.
•
Helping shape clear, practical guidance for managers and employees on international working
•
Overseeing immigration and relocation partners where needed
•
Leading on international benefits management
•
Reviewing current benefits across countries and spotting gaps, risks, or areas to improve communication
•
Helping balance employee experience, cost, compliance, and operational simplicity
•
Advising on the people side of new country expansion or changes to ways of working
•
Keeping an eye on market practice, regulation, and trends in mobility and international benefits
•
Using data and feedback to improve programmes over time
What we’re looking for:
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
•
4+ years of relocation/immigration experience with demonstrated experience in one or more jurisdictions (US, EMEA, APAC, etc.); 2+ years of in-house corporate mobility experience strongly preferred.
•
General understanding of tax and payroll implications of cross state/country moves.
•
A good understanding of cross-border employment issues and the practical risks involved
•
Experience working with international benefits programmes across multiple countries
•
Confidence working with external vendors and internal stakeholders across different teams
•
The ability to explain complex topics in a clear, calm, human way
•
Good judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving
•
Strong project and programme management skills
•
Comfort working both strategically and hands-on
•
Great attention to detail without getting stuck in unnecessary complexity
•
Ability to build from scratch and develop robust policies/procedures.
•
Strong contributor and team player who takes ownership of tasks and delivers high-quality results.
•
Background in the tech sector is a plus.
•
Ability to travel occasionally - nice to have
It would be helpful if you also have:
• Experience in a fast-growing international business
•
Exposure to EOR, PEO, or international remote working models
•
Familiarity with mobility-related tax, immigration, payroll, or compliance topics
•
Experience building or refreshing policies from scratch
