We are looking for a Global Media Lead to join our Health Care / Pharmaceutical team based in Copenhagen

In this role, you will lead global media strategy for key healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, operating as a senior client partner within a lead-agency model. You will drive integrated, compliant, and high-performing media solutions across local WPP markets while aligning media with creative, production, data / tech and broader business and brand objectives.

You bring 10+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, or activation within an agency, client or consultancy environment. You are ready to leverage your deep expertise in managing global media clients and your strong understanding of media ecosystems, platforms, production, and measurement - ideally in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, or finance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Media Excellence

• Own and lead global media strategy across brands/therapeutic areas

• Translate business and medical objectives into insight-led, full-funnel plans (HCP + DTC)

• Drive innovation in omnichannel, data-driven targeting, and personalization

• Ensure consistent, high-quality strategic output across markets

Client and Commercial Leadership

• Act as senior strategic partner to global client stakeholders

• Lead governance, senior presentations, and strategic planning cycles

• Identify and drive organic growth opportunities

• Own financials including scopes, forecasts, and overall account health

Integrated Agency Leadership (Lead Agency Model)

• Operate effectively within a lead agency model, aligning media with creative, production, and other disciplines

• Orchestrate cross-functional teams and external partners

• Drive global-to-local frameworks, ensuring consistency with flexibility

• Oversee operational excellence in planning and activation

Data, Compliance, Performance

• Ensure all media activity meets healthcare regulatory and privacy requirements

• Define and lead measurement frameworks, KPIs, and performance optimization

• Leverage data, analytics, and insights to drive decision-making

• Translate performance into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders

You will join a small, senior team that works across some of WPP’s largest global clients. While the team itself is compact, the role is deeply interconnected with the full breadth of WPP’s media, data, technology, and creative capabilities. Your daily work will be a blend of client‑facing work, developing new opportunities, and collaborating closely with colleagues across our network. You will also spend time at our Copenhagen office at Holmbladsgade 133, where you contribute to the wider WPP community and ensure strong alignment with the teams delivering into our clients.
