Global IT Audit Manager

Global IT Audit Manager for one of the leading boutique investment and hedgefund specialists – this role sits in the Global Headquarters and has a global remit. You will work alongside the Board of Directors within this position and report directly to the committee members. As such, we are looking for a candidate with a significant amount of experience within specialist fund and asset management.

My client operates internationally and as such you will be responsible for liasing with teams globally, with the ability to develop and improve the efficiency of the IT Audit function through a pragmatic and forward-thinking approach in this industry. You will develop ideas and promote these ideas to the most senior levels and implement them effectively through a diplomatic and focused planning procedure. Of course, you will lead audits within this managerial role so a proven track record in delivering commercial results is essential – this is a position which truly adds value to the company. Key responsibilities will include the planning and preparation of reports, both locally and globally. Results monitoring and analysis. Developing a company-wide risk profile and development of the IT Controls and Applications.

The successful candidate will have an enviable background in audit, specifically within the financial services industry and ideally with a proven background in asset, investment or fund management. An IT and Risk background with a detailed resume of high level clients and the use and professional knowledge of databases including, SQL, ACL, Oracle and a variety of operating systems. You will use these skills to develop the IT infrastructure where needed and where weaknesses are identified.

Due to the global remit of this position, there will be a commitment to travel globally across the EMEA, APAC and American markets. Any languages will be beneficial to your application, however all reporting will be conducted in English, so fluency is essential.
