We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Information Reporting Manager to lead and manage global tax information reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions. The role will focus on end-to-end compliance, governance, and operational oversight of information reporting related to W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-9, 1042, 1042-S, 1099, and CRS/FATCA frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive scalable, compliant reporting processes in a global environment.
Requirements:
Global Information Reporting & Compliance
• Own and manage global information reporting processes including IRS Forms 1042, 1042-S, 1099, and related filings.
• Oversee collection, validation, remediation, and maintenance of W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-9, and other U.S. tax documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CRS and FATCA regulations, including classification, due diligence, and annual reporting requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting frameworks and operational processes.
Governance & Risk Management
• Establish and maintain robust controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information reporting.
• Lead internal reviews, audits, and regulatory inquiries related to information reporting and withholding tax.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to mitigate reporting and regulatory risks.
Process Improvement & Automation
• Drive standardization and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality in global reporting processes.
• Oversee implementation and enhancement of tax reporting systems and documentation workflows.
• Identify gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and lead remediation initiatives for documentation and reporting issues.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for global information reporting matters.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a strong compliance culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 7–12 years of experience in global tax information reporting, withholding tax, or regulatory reporting roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise with W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-9, 1042, 1042-S, 1099, and CRS/FATCA frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. withholding tax regulations and global information reporting requirements.
• Experience managing large volumes of tax documentation and complex reporting structures.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, EA, or MBA (Finance/Tax).
• Experience with tax reporting systems, data governance, and automation tools.
• Prior exposure to financial services, investment management, fintech, or multinational organizations.
