Position Summary

Onit is growing and we are seeking an organized and proactive Global HR Coordinator to support our HR Operations team. The Global HR Coordinator is a detail-oriented, service-driven HR professional who supports HROP’s and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and serves as a trusted first point of contact for employees and new hires. This role ensures accurate execution of HR processes, timely documentation, and consistently high employee experience across regions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-changing environment, has a strong process mindset, and holds themselves to a high standard of excellence often going beyond the initial ask to improve outcomes. The Global Coordinator will be based in our Pune location and work during standard business hours.


HR Operations & HRBP Support:
• Prepare, review, and execute HR documentation (employment changes, unemployment, performance plans, employee letters, etc.)
• Support HRBPs with coordination and execution of employee lifecycle activities (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of employee records and data across systems


Employee & New Hire Support:
• Serve as a “go-to” contact for employee and new hire questions, escalating complex issues as appropriate
• Provide timely, clear, and empathetic responses to HR-related inquiries
• Support a positive and consistent global onboarding experience


Employment Verification & Compliance Support:
• Serve as a “go-to” contact for employee and new hire questions, escalating complex issues as appropriate

Process & Continuous Improvement:
• Execute HR processes with precision while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Document workflows and contribute to standardized, scalable HR practices

Content & Knowledge Management:
• Help manage and maintain HR content on the intranet, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accessibility
• Apply an employee-first lens to content organization and usability


Required Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, or People Operations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
• Experience supporting HR processes in a fast-paced or growing organization
