About the Role
The Global Director of Supply Chain Management (GDSCM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end global supply chain strategy and operations for LAI Games. This role ensures alignment between supply and demand while driving performance in on-time delivery (OTD), cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and service reliability.
The leader will transform LAI Games’ supply network into an agile, diversified, data-driven, and digitally enabled operation. A critical mandate includes supply base diversification, customer-focused delivery performance, and the building modern digital infrastructure such as ERP, advanced planning tools, and streamlined sales-to-fulfillment processes. The GDSCM also plays an important role to address customers escalations and uphold service commitments.
What to Expect
1. Global Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership
Owns global supply chain strategy across planning, procurement, logistics, and after-sales parts support.
Ensures customer delivery requirements and service-level expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Leads global KPI framework for delivery, cost, quality, and inventory.
Drives strong S&OP/S&OE processes to align production with customer demand.
Champions digital transformation across global supply chain operations.
2.Supply Base Diversification & Risk Mitigation
Reduces tariff and geopolitical exposure by expanding supply partners beyond concentrated regions.
Evaluates localization, nearshoring, and multi-regional sourcing options to strengthen cost and resilience.
Ensures alternate source readiness for key components to safeguard delivery commitments.
3. Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation
Standardizes global processes, systems, and reporting for visibility and responsiveness.
Leads ERP enhancement/improvement across purchasing, planning, logistics, and fulfillment workflows.
Designs and enhances global sales & fulfillment processes to ensure seamless order capture and delivery.
Transforms supply–demand planning through data-driven modeling, dashboards, and forecasting tools.
4. Customer Engagement & Escalation Support
Acts as a supply chain representative in key customer escalation meetings.
Identifies root causes of customer issues (delivery, parts availability, logistics, quality).
Leads corrective actions to resolve customer concerns and prevent recurrence.
Ensures customer-facing communication is timely, transparent, and solutions-focused.
5. Cross-Functional & Supplier Leadership
Builds and leads high-performing teams in Singapore and the U.S.
Collaborates with Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance to support customer requirements and integrated planning.
Establish long term relationship with key suppliers and oversee supplier & logistics partners performance reviews, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
Provides executive leadership with risk assessments, performance updates, and strategic recommendations.
What is Needed:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or Master’s in Operations / Logistics preferred.
Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in global supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success in multi-regional supply chain operations (Asia and U.S. experience required).
Experience leading supply diversification, procurement transformation, or global sourcing strategy.
Hands-on experience implementing ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and scaling digital workflows.
Track record of transforming supply–demand planning using analytics and S&OP.
Experience interfacing directly with customers in escalation or root-cause/problem-solving roles.
Manufacturing, electronics, or equipment industry experience preferred.
