Mission

We are seeking a Global Controlling Specialist to support the Global Financial Controller in overseeing financial accuracy, consistency, and compliance across our international group.

The role operates at group level, working closely with local finance teams to ensure high-quality financial information, strong control practices, and alignment with group accounting standards. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad exposure to multi-entity environments, international operations, and finance systems.

Job Functions

Global Controlling & Financial Oversight

• Support the Global Financial Controller throughout the monthly close process across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

• Review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with IFRS and local GAAPs.

• Work closely with local finance teams to address accounting matters, clarify treatments, and ensure alignment with group standards.

• Identify inconsistencies, risks, or deviations and communicate findings clearly, including recommendations where appropriate.

• Support external audit processes, including preparation, coordination, and review of audit deliverables.

Policies, Controls & Standardisation

• Support the application and ongoing development of group accounting policies, close procedures, and internal controls.

• Contribute to the standardisation of processes, templates, and documentation across markets.

• Support improvements to close discipline, review practices, and control effectiveness.

• Assist with the onboarding of new entities into group accounting and control frameworks following acquisitions or reorganisations.

Systems & Data Quality

• Work with group finance systems, including NetSuite (essential), to support:

• consistency of chart of accounts and entity structures

• integrity and quality of financial data

• Review system usage and data quality across markets and support remediation where needed.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting workflows, reporting structures, and system-based controls.

• Support system enhancements and process changes in collaboration with finance and operational stakeholders.

• Make professional use of generative AI tools to support documentation, analysis, and process optimisation.
