DRW is a diversified trading firm with over 3 decades of experience bringing sophisticated technology and exceptional people together to operate in markets around the world. We value autonomy and the ability to quickly pivot to capture opportunities, so we operate using our own capital and trading at our own risk.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, we trade a variety of asset classes including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets. We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.

We operate with respect, curiosity and open minds. The people who thrive here share our belief that it’s not just what we do that matters–it's how we do it. DRW is a place of high expectations, integrity, innovation and a willingness to challenge consensus.

The position partners closely with our Global Benefits Manager and HR Operations team to deliver benefits support, analysis and a strong employee experience.

• Manage day-to-day administration of US benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, employee assistance programs, wellbeing, and other voluntary benefits); support global benefits administration as needed.

• Act as the first line of contact for employee inquiries related to US benefits and leave of absence (LOA) matters, providing timely guidance, triaging complex issues and ensuring a positive employee experience.

• Manage and coordinate US leave of absence process, including eligibility determination, documentation collection, notification of benefit eligibility/status, coordination with HR stake holders, and ensuring compliance with state and national regulations. Track LOA durations, extension requests, and return-to-work plans.

• Deliver US new hire benefits orientation and act as support and back-up for global regions.

• Oversee benefits invoicing and reconciliation globally; validate vendor bills, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate cost allocation.

• Ensure US benefits programs comply with local and global regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, GDPR, local statutory requirements, etc.).

• Analyze global benefits data (costs, utilization, and trends) and provide insights to optimize cost, quality, value and employee experience.

• Develop and maintain global benefits dashboards and metrics (cost per employee, benefit utilization, open enrollment participation, vendor performance).

• Assist in executing US open enrollment activities and provide support for global renewal efforts.

• Assist with 401(k) non-discrimination testing and annual audit process.

• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline benefits administration and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration and analytics.

• Demonstrated experience with US benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, EAP, wellbeing) and vendor management.

• Experience with global HRIS and benefits platforms. Experience with Workday is a plus.

• Familiarity with US benefits and leave compliance (FMLA, HIPAA, ADA, ERISA and relevant state leave laws) and practical experience applying these requirements in LOA and benefits administration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable recommendations and business impact; proficiency with excel.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable drafting communications, and conducting new hire and open enrollment sessions.

• Attention to detail, data integrity, and high level of confidentiality with employee information.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set.
