The Global Accounts Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding Viva’s international footprint by building and growing relationships with global clients. This position combines sales with strong technical appetite (Pre-sales / Implementation), and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue for all cycle and ensure client satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating growth with global accounts, enterprise merchants, and strategic partners by leveraging Viva’s comprehensive suite of in-person and online payment solutions and banking services. With a strong focus on an omnichannel approach, you will identify, develop, and strengthen partnerships to deliver seamless integration of online and in-person payments within Viva’s unified payment ecosystem.

Beyond business development, this role extends into pre-sales, Customer success management with technical expertise, and partner enablement—ensuring smooth adoption, sustained engagement, and continuous revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Global Account Management: Drive business development strategies to acquire and grow global accounts in the payments sector & banking services. Act as the main point of contact, building long-term relationships, delivering strong technical advice, preparing proposals, business cases, and supporting project implementation with key merchants.

PreSales & Revenue growth: Drive the full pre-sales and sales cycle by scoping business requirements, defining the scope of work, and supporting project planning. Apply a consultative selling approach to match client needs with the right technical solutions. Manage the entire sales process (lead generation, pitching, and commercial negotiation to contracting, roll-out, and ongoing customer success) and leveraging strong technical product expertise to maximize adoption and consistently exceed revenue targets.

Market & Strategy: Monitor global market trends, regulatory changes, and competition to shape strategies that enhance business performance and client satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, legal, local sales teams and IT teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and advocate for client needs.

Contract & Compliance: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.

Industry Engagement: Represent Viva at industry events, build networks, and identify partnership opportunities.

Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Partnership Development: Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including payment operators, central banks, and strategic partners.
