Glaucoma Specialist – Greenville
A growing ophthalmology program is seeking a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist to join an expanding multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Greenville, North Carolina. Candidates with an interest in resident education and residency program development are strongly encouraged to apply.
The medical center serves as a tertiary referral center, caring for a high volume of patients with complex ophthalmic conditions. The ophthalmology program is actively recruiting across multiple subspecialties and continues to expand clinical, academic, and research capabilities. The program has received ACGME approval to launch a new Ophthalmology residency, with the inaugural class scheduled to begin in summer 2026.
The practice benefits from a strong hospital-based referral network, along with referrals from community optometrists and ophthalmologists, in a region with limited subspecialty coverage.
