Roles & Responsibilities:
• Candidate for this position will be expected to have technical experience in reading and extracting data from road plans, have good computer skills, an ability to make decisions based on mathematical research of historical maps, road plans and departmental documents.
• The majority of the candidate’s time will be spent doing research and will need to perform with limited supervision.
• The position will consist of researching requests for deletions, additions or re-designation of Local Roads, preparation of Electronic Posting Advice documents, revising route documents (Notes) and departmental maps and updating the Roadway Information Management System’s (RIMS) Road Inventory Database.
• The candidate will also perform the ongoing task of scanning the departments Posting Advice documents and updating the Project Wise database.
• It is expected that the candidate would work 37.5 hour work week.
