Salary Range: Base pay starts at $22/hr

Are you ready for a new challenge? Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! In this role, you’ll make a difference by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You’ll be responsible for creating preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes, and training store associates on the proper care and cleaning of equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).

• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality.

• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic documentation (e.g., expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs).

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years' experience in maintenance (including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.)

Certification: 

• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
