Job Description

Mercier Consultancy is seeking a skilled German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Transportation Department, specializing in rail, shipping, and related services. In this important role, you will provide outstanding support to our German-speaking clients, assisting them with their inquiries and helping them navigate our transportation services.

Your fluency in German will be crucial as you communicate effectively with customers regarding service options, schedules, bookings, and any issues they may encounter. You will play a significant role in ensuring customer satisfaction while contributing to the efficient operation of our transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service in German via phone, email, and chat concerning transportation services
• Assist customers with inquiries related to rail, shipping, and logistics processes
• Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and requests in our CRM system
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure effective resolution of customer inquiries
• Provide information on schedules, pricing, and service updates
• Gather customer feedback to enhance service offerings and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the transportation industry, is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries and tasks efficiently
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Passion for logistics and transportation services, along with a commitment to customer care
• Experience with customer support software and CRM systems is an advantage
