Mercier Consultancy is seeking a German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Airline Reservations Department for one of our clients. In this critical Entry Level role, you will provide exemplary support to our German-speaking customers, assisting them with airline bookings and inquiries to ensure a smooth travel experience.

Your fluency in German will be essential as you handle reservations, provide information on flight options, and resolve any issues that may arise during the booking process. As a valued member of our team, you will help enhance customer satisfaction and maintain the high standards of service we are known for.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in German via phone, email, and chat with airline reservations and inquiries
• Help clients navigate the booking process, including ticket purchases and itinerary changes
• Provide information related to flight schedules, pricing, and available services
• Document customer interactions accurately in our CRM system
• Collaborate with airline partners and internal teams to resolve complex issues
• Gather feedback from customers to enhance our service quality
• Stay updated on airline policies and industry trends to provide informed support

Requirements:
• Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle inquiries effectively
• Prior experience in customer service, particularly in airline or travel reservations, is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Passion for travel and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Familiarity with airline reservation systems and customer support software is a plus
