German English Translator

Roles & Responsibilities :

Ready to embark on a linguistic adventure? We're on the hunt for a Word Wizard (aka Senior Translator) to join our merry band of language lovers! If you have a passion for turning German into English or the other way around with flair and precision, this role is your ticket to translation stardom!

• Translation of variety of documents including Process documents, User and Instruction manuals, Requirement specifications, Software and Hardware documentation, Process instructions, Central Directives, Legal Contracts and SAP documents etc. between English and German languages

• Coordination with customer (and their local counterparts) to clarify requirements and terminology

• Flair for AI based translation tools and expertise in Human in Loop translation model

• Coordinate various projects independently

• Working on multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ensure 100% quality is maintained and database is updated at all times

• Knowledge of CAT tools like SDL Trados

• Meet scheduled deliveries

• Work under time pressure

• Extend support to handle priority translation tasks

 

Educational qualification:

 

Post graduate in German language from a recognized university or C2 certification from Goethe Institut.

 

 

Experience:

 

Experience of at least 10 years as a translator

 

 

Mandatory/requires Skills:

• Excellent Written and Spoken English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office tools.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
