Geriatric Psychiatrist
An academic Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Eligible/Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing academic division. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply.
The position is supported by a newly developed 144-bed behavioral health hospital, including 24 inpatient beds dedicated to geriatric psychiatry, providing comprehensive services for older adult patients.
An opportunity to serve as Fellowship Director for a new Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship is available for qualified and interested candidates.
Highlights include:

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, including outpatient psychiatry clinics, a geriatric-focused primary care center, and inpatient consultation services
• Opportunity to develop and expand consultation services for multiple local nursing homes
• Collaboration with a team of four neuropsychologists
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with rotating night call by phone
• 24/7 resident coverage, including first-call responsibility
