We currently have a role available for a Genomics Scientist to join our New York City team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and implement sequencing applications related to NGS, cell-free, single-cell, and FFPE sequencing.

Prior experience or RT-PCR and sequencing is a must.

Broad experience with multiple nucleic acid and protein expression platforms, including assay design and development would be advantageous.

Support existing and novel targeted panel development NGS.

Must be able to follow SOPs and communicate effectively with team members.

Experience with high content, high throughput laboratory workflows is desirable.

Work interactively with project teams and discovery informatics to interpret data and ensure proper documentation and archiving of data analyses.

Data analysis capabilities using R and Python would be beneficial.

Communicate results at project team meetings, be involved in the coordination and preparation of presentations as needed.

Engage in extensive cross-functional communication and collaboration with internal teams.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

MS-Molecular Biology or related field with 1+ years of lab experience, preferably pharma.  BS-Molecular/Cellular Biology or related field with 3+ years of lab experience outside of academia will also be considered.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Benchling.

Team player mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills. Will be required to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics.
